This is a self financing and minority institution affiliated to the University of Calicut. It imparts higher education to girl students of all sections especially for those from backward and minority communities.

COURSES
UG Programms under CCSS:
The under graduate programmes of University of Calicut is under Choice Based Credit and Semester-system (CCSS). ln this system the duration of under Graduate programme (traditionally referred to as Course) shall be six semesters distributed over a period of three years.

ln the CCSS, each UG consists of different courses (traditionally referred to as paper). For all programes, common courses are compulsory (English & Languages other than English). In addition to common courses there are Core courses (traditionally referred to as main papers), Complementary courses (traditionally referred to as subsidiary papers) and an Open Course. The Open course can be opted by the student in the fifth semester at her choice from any other department in the institution.
