In 2007 a Rehabilitation Centre was started in Vadanapally for the patients who require long term treatment and medical care. At present the organization has nearly 60 inmates. ARC also functions under the supervision of expert doctors in AIPMR.During the development of the centre, in spite of prevailing limitations we are proud of acquiring some of the achievements in the field of research. We jointly conducted a General Mental Health Survey with Centre for Development Studies (CDS) Thiruvananthapuram in the state level. Another survey was conducted with Sree Chithra Thirunal Institute of Medical Science on Epilepsy. Prof. E.Muhammed personally presented these research reports in an International Seminar organized in Bankok, Thailand and was appreciated.

These research reports were recognized internationally. This has played a major role in enhancing the reputation of the institution especially at intellectual levels. The research reports on Epilepsy was published in Epilepsia, the renowned Medical Journal. Studies conducted at Ansar centre has been added as an important chapter in the book Kerala Demographic Future-Issues & Policy Options published by Academic Foundation, New Delhi in 2012.It is a fact that students from all over the state reach the Educational Institutions of Ansar as it is run by Jamaat-e-Islami and due to the credibility of the organization. AIPMAR has a similar response in the field of Health care.
